Quest erwin Mart Portal is a central and secure repository in which modeling teams store, version, and share their models. It is one of the components of the Quest erwin Data Modeler solution and enables centralized model management and collaborative modeling.
Quest erwin Mart Portal is the browser-based console that you use to administer the repository. From the portal, you can manage users and groups, define profiles and permissions, organize the model catalog, monitor sessions and locks, apply naming standards, and configure integrations.
Quest erwin Mart Portal is available in two flavors:

On premises: You install and maintain the database, the applications, and the web server in your own environment.

On cloud: The Workgroup edition of Quest erwin Mart Portal is delivered as a pure Software as a Service (SaaS) offering.
Integration with Quest Data Modeler
Both flavors of Quest erwin Mart Portal, on premises and on cloud, can integrate with Quest Data Modeler (QDM). This integration lets modelers connect QDM to the Mart repository so that they can store, version, and collaborate on models directly from QDM.
Integration with the on-cloud Quest erwin Mart Portal is provided as part of the onboarding process. If you are an existing user of the on-premises Mart and want to continue using the on-premises version, that is supported too.
To integrate QDM with the on-premises Quest erwin Mart Portal:

Provide the Mart instance URL and port number, which must use a valid SSL certificate.

Ensure that Mart users are configured for single sign-on (SSO) to access QDM.
